Fortnite fans are eagerly waiting for the Chapter 5 Season 3 update to release, which is slated to feature a post-apocalyptic theme. While rumors had suggested that a Mad Max collaboration could be next, Epic Games surprised fans again by announcing Fortnite’s partnership with Fallout instead. As the new season approaches and revamps the Fortnite meta, fans are debating about the utility of medallions in the game.

In the video, the player can get the exact location of the opponent on the map, which helps them to spot the enemy with ease. They go on to sneakily snipe down the enemy through the bush. Despite the enemy hiding behind the rock, it is the disadvantage of using a medallion that aids the player in finding them.

However, each of them provides unique buffs to the player, such as improving damage, vitality, or even movement speed. Every player has their own favorite medallion depending on their playstyle, but there is a caveat to using them. Having the medallions means the player’s location will be marked on the map and the more medallions one has, the more precise the location marker becomes.
Fans are once again at odds about the utility of medallions, with some players stating that it’s just the opponent who didn’t use them wisely, as camping with medallions doesn’t make sense.
