How to Get a Nutty Chest
To obtain a Nutty Chest, you must participate in the Chubby Chipmunk Event. There are two main methods:
- Let the Chubby Chipmunk pet eat your crops.
- When it does, there’s a chance it will drop a Nutty Chest.
- You can increase this chance by triggering the Nutty Fever event.
- Collect Acorns during the event.
- Every time the Chubby Chipmunk eats a crop, it spawns an Acorn somewhere on your island.
- Acorns can reward you with various prizes, each with its own drop rate:
- Nutty Chest chance: 5.65%
- Two Nutty Chests: 2.35%
What Does the Chinchilla Do?
The Chinchilla’s ability activates every ~40 minutes. It approaches another pet, rolls in dust, and causes that pet to trigger its ability about 3 times in a row (3.02x multiplier).
This makes it an extremely valuable pet for boosting ability-based pets — particularly those whose abilities stack or scale.
However, the Chinchilla cannot use its ability on pets that:
- Cannot be refreshed, such as French Fry Ferret, Green Bean, or Red Panda.
- Have cooldown-boosting abilities, including another Chinchilla, Tarantula Hawk, Queen Bee, Peach Wasp, or the Wasp’s stinging ability.
