Cristiano Ronaldo showed us the secret about his muscle

We know he does thousands of sit-ups every day, he has told us that before. But what else does Cristiano do to get that flawless six-pack and sculpted body?

“When Cristiano Ronaldo was at United, he averaged 50 games a season, 4,000 minutes on field, three games a week,” said Manchester United coach Tony Strudwick last year.

“Come the business end of the season we had to get him to recover. How can we keep him in a high performance state? All the information we gather from data keeps him there.”

The Real Madrid man will miss the club’s next two matches after he was sent off against Cordoba last week but he is keepi9ng himself in top shape as he prepares for his comeback game against Madrid rivals Atletico on February 7.

Here is CR7 working that core:

Neymar thinks Cristiano Ronaldo should take responsibility for his actions

Neymar believes Cristiano Ronaldo “needs to be punished” for the action that led to his red card last weekend, though the Barcelona star did commiserate with his La Liga rival about the incident.

“It is difficult because sometimes there is provocation,” he said. “It happened to Zinedine Zidane, it happened to me. Nobody has the coolness to remain calm 100 per cent of the time.

“We must think with our heads. I think he should be punished.

“It is the referee’s responsibility to protect players on the pitch, particularly when they are targeted by hard challenges. Hard tackles must be punished.”

The Brazilian superstar may get his wish, with the Ballon d’Or winner facing anything up to a TWELVE match ban when the disciplinary hearing takes place on Wednesday, according to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

However, such a sanction would be extremely unlikely, and the Portuguese may actually only miss Los Blancos’ home clash with Real Sociedad at the weekend.

A late Gareth Bale penalty sealed the three points for Real against Cordoba, and they sit a point clear of Barcelona at the top of La Liga, with a game in hand over their great rivals.

Cristiano Ronaldo Apologises for his mistake

1Three-time World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo has apologised to Cordoba defender Edimar for the kick that saw the Portuguese sent-off for the ninth time in his career in Real Madrid’s 2-1 win on Saturday.

The Triple Ballon d’Or winner saw red after 82 minutes when he lashed out at Edimar in what appeared to be a punch, leaving the referee with little choice but to give the Portuguese superstar his marching orders.

The match was poised at 1-1 when Ronaldo was dismissed, but Madrid managed to grab all three points without their talisman thanks to a late Gareth Bale penalty.

Ronaldo is now set for a three-match suspension as his actions will most likely be deemed as violent conduct from the Spanish league. The former Manchester United man has since apologised for his actions and admitted that he was ‘thoughtless.’  It was very much a day to forget for CR7, who also could have been sent off for punching his opponent in an incident before that which was seen by the referee.

Ronaldo has been in sensational form this season once again and has further increased the gap between himself and Lionel Messi as the two greatest players but his actions will tarnish his image slightly. Yesterday, Ronaldo was captured playing football in the street with a kid disguised as an overweight gentleman. From hero to zero.

Franck Ribery said Ballon d’Or is Messi and Ronaldo’s party

Bayern Munich's suspended player Ribery sits in the dugout before their Champions League final soccer match against Inter Milan in Madrid

What a colorful frechman it is ! Ribery said Ballon d’Or is Messi and Ronaldo’s party recent years and is ready to boycott the ceremony.Bayern Munich attacker Franck Ribery feels it is impossible for any player to win the Fifa Ballon d’Or as long as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are around and has once more voiced his opinion that the award is all about politics.

Messi and Ronaldo have won the last seven editions of the award among them and Ribery believes there’s no way to dethrone the duo, irrespective of what a player has achieved, before hinting at a potential boycott in the future.

“So long as Ronaldo and Messi are around, the third player who gets nominated should realise that he does not stand a chance, It’s the same story all over again each and every year. I don’t know what one should achieve to win this award. Even winning the World Cup is apparently no longer enough. [Manuel] Neuer has been the best goalkeeper in the world for two or three years now. He won trophies with Bayern, won the World Cup and was the best goalkeeper in Brazil. Apparently, that’s not enough, though. I simply don’t understand it. When another Bayern player gets nominated, we should have a discussion whether it’s even worth going. What’s the point? To get your picture taken? It’s just politics for me.” Ribery told AZ.

The ex-France international had to settle for third spot in the vote in 2013 – despite playing a key role in Bayern’s historic treble that year – while Neuer also came in third in 2014 after helping Germany to the world title in Brazil.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Irina Shay parted company after five years of amativeness

Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term girlfriend Irina Shayk have split, according to new reports. The couple have been together for five years, but in the past few weeks, the footballer and the Russian model have been hit with break-up rumours. Shayk’s rep confirmed exclusively to Page Six.

Ballon D'Or 2013 - Arrivals

“We can confirm Irina Shayk has ended her relationship to Cristiano Ronaldo” her rep told us on Friday.
Rumors of a split first broke this week after Shayk was not by Ronaldo’s side at the annual FIFA Ballon d’Or in Zurich on Monday. Instead, he appeared at the awards event with his mother, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, and young son, Cristiano Jr., whom he fathered with an unidentified woman.

Some believed the couple had split up after Shayk didn’t show up to Ronaldo’s mother’s 60th birthday party on New Year’s Eve.

But a rep for the top model told us, “She has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship. Any negative rumors with regards to Irina and the Ronaldo family are completely false, and have not been a factor in the cause of the spilt. Irina has no further comment at the time.”
The Russian beauty, who was on the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and Ronaldo had been dating since 2010, after meeting on the set of an Armani ad.

The ridiculously hot couple quickly became an item, documenting their travels around the world on social media, and posed for a sultry cover of Vogue Spain’s June issue, with Ronaldo standing naked behind a clothed Shayk.

But the ex-lovebirds, both 29, noticeably spent New Year’s apart, and Shayk also posted photos of herself alone around her Jan. 6 birthday while Ronaldo was in Madrid.

Trouble might have been brewing over the summer when Ronaldo missed the July premiere of Shayk’s action movie “Hercules,” in which she starred opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. A week later, Ronaldo was spotted partying in Vegas while Shayk was on Fire Island hanging with pals. Ronaldo’s rep didn’t get back to us.

Cristiano Ronaldo said he was not from another planet

Cristiano Ronaldo apologised to Real Madrid fans after his miraculous powers deserted him as the holders were knocked out of the King’s Cup by city rivals Atletico Madrid on Thursday.

Ronaldo showed off the third FIFA Ballon d’Or award he won this week to fans at the Bernabeu before kickoff in the last 16, second leg match as Real attempted to overturn a 2-0 deficit from last week’s first leg at the Calderon. However, Fernando Torres struck twice for the visitors, with Sergio Ramos and Ronaldo levelling each time, and Atletico went through to the quarter-finals 4-2 on aggregate and will face record winners Barcelona. [FERNANDO TORRES BAGS BRACE AS ATLETICO OUST REAL MADRID] Apart from his goal, a routine header from a Gareth Bale cross, Ronaldo turned in a subdued performance and his disappointing night was summed up when he sent a free kick sailing into the stands in added time. “It’s impossible to be at 100 percent in every game,” the Portugal forward told reporters. “I am not from another planet,” added the 29-year-old. “On behalf of the team I apologise, maybe we could have done things better.”
“You cannot score in every game, or be at your best,” Ronaldo said. “Tell me a player who always plays well. I am not from another planet. Maybe I am not perfectly fit, but I will be there. The knee issue is over, I have got used to playing with pain. In two or three weeks I will be fine, and the team too.”

Real’s next outing is a La Liga game at Getafe on Sunday, when they will be seeking to protect their one-point lead over second-placed Barca. They are also through to the last 16 of the Champions League, the competition they won for a record-extending 10th time last season, and will play Bundesliga side Schalke 04. “Obviously losing is never good but you always have to think positively,” Ronaldo said. “The team will be at its best again and we have a good chance to win La Liga and the Champions League.”
