Lizard Squad may have had something to do with taking down EA

Lizard Squad may have had something to do with taking down EA last week, but this time round it is not their doing. But EA is apparently down and offline at the moment, even though FIFA 15 FUT servers are back online.

EA did announce they will be making a EA Sports Football Club and FIFA Ultimate Team scheduled maintenance today at 11pm PT /7:00 AM UK time. But, even though this was expected to take around 3 hours the downtime was extended.

EA is down, cannot blame Lizard Squad
This means the Mobile companion app, Web App, EA SPORTS Football Club and FIFA Ultimate Team will be offline.

Product Reviews reports EA is back up and running maintenance, they also mention EA’s FUT servers are online again. But over on Down Detector many gamers are saying EA is still down and offline.

One user said, “Don’t know about other EA sports games, but All FIFA servers are down. Tried on all consoles, android and FIFA world. Up until Yesterday PS4 and Android were still working 100%, XBOX 360 with FIFA 15 Coins XBOX 360,was out 2 days earlier or so. Since today everything is offline.” Gamers are saying EA is down in Holland, UK, Sweden, Hamburg. Many tweets are coming in on Twitter as well.

Career Mode Community Wish List for FIFA

After trawling through over 1700 comments, the Futhead community Wish List is finally here. These are the things you want to see most in FIFA 16’s Career Mode.

One thing Career Mode has historically lacked is the ability as a manger to develop and impart a team style on the squad that you have at your disposal. FUT achieves this through it’s Chemistry system and Career Mode needs training to do the same.

  • Player Training – to allow individual skills to be focussed on, eg dribbling, shooting, stamina, etc to provide a modest and temporary boost to those stat groups. This should also improve player weak foot ability, and skill move growth also.
  • Team training – which over-arches everything allowing you to create a team style. It should take time to develop with events like buying lots of players, or changing training settings constantly having a negative impact to take players to be perfect  to play with FIFA 15 coins.
  • Match Training – everyone always thinks of training as separate, but it’s usually match day when players learn the most. With young players especially you should be able to develop for example a LB, to a LM through a combination of time and experience in that new position.

Preseason has always been a drab affair when it comes to Career Mode but with clubs now jetting off all around the world to play in prestigious tournaments, against big opposition it really is an untapped resource for Career Mode waiting to be utilised.

  • Tour Location – really you should be able to choose where your team go on their preseason tour, and even having three different ‘offers’ would add so much compared to the automated friendlies. The bigger your club is, the more lucrative and glamorous the offers should be.
  • Substitutes – this one is simple. EA please just allow us to use as many subs as we want in friendly games. It’s one of preseason’s core characteristics and currently the three sub rule, kills that completely.

FIFA is probably the best licensed football game in existence, with the new Premier League deal especially yielding some pretty incredible results. But one area where Konami hold the cards is the tournament football arena, where the Europa and Champions League have all the bells and whistles you’d expect to see normally in FIFA.

  • More Leagues – it’s always great when EA add new leagues to the game, because it knocks on and effects many other modes, but Career Mode especially benefits purely through added variation and volume of new players.
  • Real Tournaments – qualifying for European football in FIFA 15 feela like an achievement of sorts, but there’s only so far that experience can go with generically named cups. Konami hold all the cards here, and EA need to wrestle a few free.

It’s the bit of Career Mode we all love the most; buying players. And whilst Career Mode has some ‘good’ features in this area there is so much more to do, and we had countless comments on this topic alone.

  • Transfer Depth – things like buy-out clauses and sell-on fees are now so common place in real football that FIFA must simply follow suit now to have any chance of keeping up with transfer realism. Marco Reus has the most talked about buy-out clause in world football, and what a story it could make for Career Mode too.
  • Swap Deals – its all very well being able to offer up one of your players to the CPU, but when Real Madrid come calling with a £45 million offer for Wayne Rooney, I want to make them sweat by asking for £30 million and Varane instead. This trade system must work both ways.
  • Transfer Variety – after you’ve played a few different Career Mode saves, an alarming number of repeat transfers begin to show themselves. Without doubt more transfer variety is needed here.

Stadium Moves

With EA now offering up more real stadiums than ever before, one might argue whether this feature is even needed. But the joys of Career Mode for me are found mainly by taking a team from the depths of the lower leagues all the way to the top, and this is where stadium moves/expansion is needed most.

  • New Stadiums – all lower league clubs have generic stadiums, so there really isn’t a reason that they can’t move to a new generic stadium as your club moves through the leagues. It’s just not right for Yeovil to be crowned European Champions in a ground fit for a pub side.
  • Stadium Expansions – much more difficult this one (especially for licensed stadiums) but again for generic arena’s surely EA could build a few different variants of the same stadium? Some with an added tier here and there, allowing you to expand instead of move grounds.

The Global Transfer Network has been in place for two years now, and after a promising start it’s lack of development has if anything made transfer decision making more difficult in Career Mode than its ever been.

  • Scout by Price – you can choose which position, age and type of player you want but what you can’t do is add a budget to the mix. So if you have £10mil to spend and you need a LB, perhaps you only really want to spend £3mil max on that position. It would at the very least make scouting results more relevant.
  • Reveal the OVR – i’m a big supporter of masked player OVR’s in Career Mode, but I appreciate that it can make decision making difficult also. Which is why when you do take the time to scout a specific player, that information should be revealed to you. As should ‘top’ players (like Messi) who funnily enough, we already know is pretty handy.
  • Auto-Scouting – EA made a few tentative steps towards scouts dynamically suggestion players, based on squad weaknesses, but it needs to be better. In FIFA 15 it was a little too contrived and still relied on pre-set Instructions, which more often than not, you just deleted anyway.

Sim Matches

Because the match result when you sim is already pre-defined, the smoke and mirrors ‘live’ updates are exactly that; smoke and mirrors. Which makes dynamic decisions like changing formations, or choosing a substitute basically impossible. But that doesn’t mean that Sim matches shouldn’t be better within the framework they currently exist.

  • Stats – once the sim has completed, bar the score, it’s almost impossible to find out what happened in the match. Did your team misplace lots of passes, did they get caught on the counter? There’s just no way to learn from a simmed result, and more stats would certainly help.
  • Team Management – the other problem with Sim is that you don’t get an opportunity to tweak your team on the fly. This is a fairly simple flow issue, and prior to a sim you should be presented with the same menu as if you were playing for real. That way you can tweak your lineup without changing your default setup.

The Best of the Rest

  • Add in the Practice Arena so you can play with Career Mode squads
  • Better press conferences with more conversation options and effects
  • Proper manager customisation so you can create yourself, perhaps using GameFace
  • More detailed reports about Youth Academy players and who’s pushing for the first team.
  • Ballon d’Or awards to recognise the best players in the world.
  • Scenario Mode – where you start mid season with a team in the relegation zone for example.
  • The ability to carry remaining transfer budget across seasons
  • A better pool of Free Agents at the start of the game
  • Control over clubs finances, like ticket prices, sponsorship deals, etc.
  • Proper Reserve teams

We’ll now do our bit and make sure EA see this, and thank you again for all your suggestions. It was great to read all the comments, and see the passion you guys have for this mode. The next Wish List; FUT will be up soon for you to get involved with once again.

In gym, QPR squad prepare for Everton clash with conga-style press-ups

The Queens Park Rangers squad have taken press-ups to a new level in their preparations for Monday’s game against Everton, as shown by Shaun Wright-Phillips in a workout video with a difference. The former England winger posted a video on social media site Kicca showing him and his team-mates taking part in a conga-style workout in the gym at QPR’s training ground.

Accompanied by the caption, ‘Having fun after a hard session in the gym’, the video shows a long line of QPR players perform synchronised press-ups with their legs mounted on the team-mate behind them.Shaun Wright-Phillips and QPR team-mates do press ups conga-style.

Shaun Wright-Phillips shoots past Brian Murphy and Jordon Mutch in QPR training on Thursday. It creates quite a visual effect, as the players are spurred on by a coach in the minute-long workout video.

Rangers climbed out of the bottom three of the Premier League after their impressive 2-0 win against Burnley, and face a tough test away at Goodison Park on Monday. The R’s will be without top scorer Charlie Austin, who is suspended after he saw red on Saturday.

Defender Steven Caulker is fit though, despite needing hospital treatment on a cut sustained to his head while falling over at the QPR Christmas party last Sunday. The players, led by Bobby Zamora at the front, laugh after their workout with a difference. To experience this excited game of FIFA 15,first you should get FIFA 15 coins, then you can fight with your friends or your family.

Important day is to own FIFA 15 coins for you for present

Some days late,The Christmas and New Year holiday season come close and it wouldn’t be justified if there are no special advertisements to mark the occasion.Every retailer and developer has started pushing their products, so as to excite people into buying it. And, it wouldn’t be the best without some great gaming is what the people at Microsoft and Electronic Arts think.

The all new FIFA 15 promo featuring Lionel Messi and Eden Hazard is out now that showcases both the stars playing a game of soccer on the Xbox One console. It’s not the best trailer in recent times but you would definitely enjoy watching it through. But, the big news is not about the promo, but more about the special offer that is being introduced to gamers. The Christmas special edition of the game comes with special features, additional content and bonus goodies that make the purchase an enticing offer to go with.
Head on Head Match
In the promo video, Messi goes against Hazard and the match between Barcelona and Chelsea is really intense. But, the commentators and the cheer people are completely different in the video, because, instead of real people or coaches, it is the gingerbread man as well as snow cupcakes that cheer both players into scoring goals. Both of them play intensely, in the FIFA 15 game, of course, and each tries to win over the other.
However, as both of them are equally good and also in order to avoid any controversy, the ad ends with Messi and Hazard scoring an equal. Both of them score one goal each and the match ends as a tie. So, maybe it’s time for a goal kick in the next advertisement or something new, we don’t know yet. The game looks cool and EA says this is the season to play it.
Goodies Coming up
The holiday special deluxe edition of FIFA 15 comes bundled with FIFA points that players could spend to improvise their Ultimate Team. Let’s get cheap FIFA 15 coins to play FIFA 15. It also includes a newly adorned Messi as an FUT player, who will be open for you to pick up for up to five games, as well as the catalog items from the EA Sports football club. There’s an Adidas sponsored stars team, besides more goodies to look into, in this pack. However, you will be able to get the deluxe edition of FIFA 15 only through an online download.

The unpredictables of TOTW 13

We all know TOTW 13 is a big one, and after missing seven players from our Predictions, we take a look at why those mystery men made the cut, and who EA should have included in this week’s 18. It is time for us that we play FIFA 15 with FIFA 15 coins and fight side by side with your friends or your family.
The Unpredictables – 7 Players Missed

When it comes to saving penalties, Allan McGregor is your man. He’s now saved all three penalties he’s faced in the Premier League this season denying Charlie Austin, Frank Lampard and on the weekend Graham Dorrans. That save, low to his left secured The Tigers a crucial point in a 0-0 draw and McGregor’s good form will need to continue, when Hull visit Chelsea this weekend.

Dortmund are still in a right pickle in the Bundesliga, but with Hummels stepping up to secure a clean sheet in their 1-0 win over Hoffenheim, things may finally be looking up. The in-demand Hummel’s put in a heroic performance for his team winning a whopping eight aerial challenges which help Klopp’s Dortmund to 14th in the table.

There was no clean sheet for Udinese against Inter last Sunday, but they did go on to win after going 1-0 down. Center back Thomas Heurtaux helped to kick start the comeback by assisting Bruno Fernandes for the equaliser. He was also their top performer on the day and that win edges Udinese ever closer to the European chasing pack in Serie A.

When Nani was forced off after half hour, Sporting certainly needed some inspiration from the man replacing him, and boy did they get it. Carrillo came on, scored the first and assisted a further two for teammates Mane and Joao Mario to complete a 3-1 win against Boavista. Back to back wins leave Sporting 4th in the league.

PSG may have gone a goal down against Nantes but luckily for them the mercurial legend Ibra was on hand to correct the score in Paris by netting either side of half time. Water is wet, the sky is blue, etc. PSG remain just a point behind leaders Marseille in Ligue 1, and we get ST Ibra and ST Ronaldo in the same TOTW. Happy days.

Universiadad de Chile won the league title in dramatic fashion after previous leaders Colo Colo slipped to 2-0 loss, which allowed Gustavo Gonzales to seize the trophy for Universidad with an 88th minute penalty winner. However, goalkeeper Johnny Herrera made a number of crucial saves at 0-0 to keep his team in the game and thus claims his IF as their unsung hero.

 The Underrated

The Futhead community were not happy with Milik’s absence from TOTW 13 and neither am I. He came on as a sub in Ajax’s 5-0 win over Willem but in that time he scored twice and grabbed an assist too. That leaves the 20 year old on 8 goals for the season in just 6 appearances, half of which he’s only been used as a substitute. Carrillo (who did make TOTW) had 1 goal, 2 assists totaling 4 goals in 9 games. Answers on a postcard.

He already has a rather splendid In Form card, but Chopou-Moting was once again firing on all cylinders in Schalke’s 4-0 drubbing of bottom club Stuttgart. There were quite a few hat tricks last weekend which has made competition for the ST positions in TOTW 13 tough, but Eric scored his using just three shots, making him captain efficiency.

The most well known app belongs to FIFA 15 of EA

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team by EA Sports is a one of the most well known apps out there. Last month the iOS version of the app was updated as part of Apple’s Apps for (RED) campaign. That has now been replaced with a new iPhone and iPad version, and the latest FIFA 15 Ultimate Team app update offers Club Owner content. And when you have FIFA 15 Coins IOS ,then you can play in IOS platform well.

If you don’t already know it, this app features more than 30 real leagues and stadiums, and over 500 teams and 10,000 players. Users can build their dream squads, collect footballing superstars such as Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney, and much more. The iOS version of the app was updated yesterday to version 1.2.0 and brings new features.

One of these is Club Owner enabling users to unlock new boosts and tactics as they progress and use rewards to strengthen their teams. There’s also Area Focus with players receiving attribute boosts, and a Skill Moves Button feature with a choice between “Through Ball” and “Skill Moves.” The newest version also has an Updated Roster bringing it up to speed with the most recent transfer market.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team update

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is a free app, although in-app purchases are available. The latest updated version for iOS is available at iTunes and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad running iOS 5.1.1 or later. The app is highly rated among many users but we should point to our recent report about various issues with the app for iOS and Android users that was written before this latest update. Often an update also brings along bug fixes for existing problems, but there’s nothing about this on the ‘What’s New’ section of the app description.

While we hope that there are some improvements on this aspect of FIFA 15 UT, we have to say that a quick look at the latest user reviews on the App Store isn’t particularly promising as there are some negative comments. These are about server issues and lag and also some disappointment over some of the new features. However, we have no way of knowing if these are widespread issues or not, so we’d be interested to hear from readers about this.

You Should Know TOTW Predictions – Week 13

fifa 15

Interesting week last week with all bar a couple being mentioned, either way 12/18 is a fair score. Coming on to this week and we look set to have a ST Ronaldo for that 1% who can afford him.

Last weeks score 12/18

fifa 15

Carlos Idriss Kameni – GK – 73 OVR
Kameni made a total of six saves as well as saving a penalty as Malaga won 1-0 away at Coruna.

Jérémy Toulalan- CB – 83 OVR
Toulalan was dropped back in to the unfamiliar position of CB at the weekend, that did not stop him playing well though after he had a great game to claim a 7/10 from L’equipe and he is the only player I can realistically see making the side this week with Ibra and Berbatov not doing enough imo.

José María Giménez – CB – 71 OVR
Gimenez scored one of Madrids two goals as they won 2-0 away at Elche. Gimenez received an 8/10 from Marca to make this weeks side which is half La liga.

Luca Antonelli – LB – 72 OVR
Antonelli was dropped back into the LB position for this game and managed to score the only goal of the game as Genoa managed a 1-0 win at home to Milan.

Balázs Dzsudzsák – LM – 79 OVR
Balazs scored one and assisted another as Moscow walked past Amkar in a 5-0 win. He did claim Russian league player of the week which is why I have opted for him over the likes of Garay.

Tranquillo Barnetta – CM – 77 OVR
I am fully aware that Moting scored a hat trick however because his previous IF was in fact just two weeks ago I have decided to leave him out and instead include Barnetta who claimed three assists in Schalke’s 4-0 away win at hapless Stuttgart.

Georginio Wijnaldum- CM – 78 OVR
Wijnaldum is a player that a lot of people will be happy to see this week. He scored twice for PSV as the won 3-1 away from home against bottom of the table. He received and 8/10 match rating which hopefully should see him into the side.

Ivan Perišić – LM – 78 OVR
Perisic claimed three assists for Wolfsburg as they beat Hannover 3-1 away from home. I feel the five week gap between the two IF’s should be enough however if he is not included that will be the reason why.

Cristiano Ronaldo – ST – 92 OVR
Well I can pretend to be hyped about this card but in reality I will never be able to afford him. Either way he will receive his SIF card after scoring yet another hat trick which broke the La liga record. He scored all three of Madrid’s goals in their 3-0 win against Vigo.

Papiss Demba Cissé – ST – 76
Cisse is the only striker in this weeks team that did not score a hat trick. It was a hard decision with about 7 other strikers seriously competing for this position however as it was Chelsea’s first loss of the season I couldn’t leave him out. Newcastle shocked Chelsea with a 2-1 win to maintain Jose’s poor 0% record at St James. Cisse scored both of Newcastle’s goals and that is why I have selected him.

Andy Carroll- ST – 77 OVR
The big striker looked back to his best at the weekend after being involved in all three of high flying West Hams goals, scoring twice and assisting another. I have left out several hat tricks this week however so Carroll is far from a certainty.

László Köteles – GK – 73 OVR
Koteles made six saves in total including a penalty save as 10 men Genk managed a 0-0 draw with rivals Gent.

Willi Orban – CB – 68 OVR
Orban scored twice and kept a clean sheet for Kaiserslautern as they beat Aue 3-0. As I have said before when a defender scores twice and does not concede he is a certainty for TOTW.

Denis Cheryshev – LM – 73 OVR
Marca decided to become Villarreal fans after their 4-0 win against Sociedad after giving their players four 9 ratings. I decided to pick Cheryshev for his goal and assist however any of Bruno, Gomez or Vietto could also make the cut.

Piotr Wiśniewski – CM – 64 OVR
Simple pick this week as Wisniewaki scored all three of Gdansk’s goals as they won 3-1

Julio Furch – ST – 70 OVR
Yet another hat trick as Furch made even more selection dilemmas as he scored three of Belgrano’s four in a 4-0 win.

Jelle Vossen – ST – 74 OVR
I have taken a risk and decided to leave Deeney out this week as I feel only on Npower striker will make the cut. I decided to choose Vossen over Deeney down to the fact none of Vossens goals were penalties.

Alan – ST – 73 OVR
It was not the best of starts for Salzburg as they found themselves two down early on. Salzburg being Salzburg however and you just can’t rule them out, it didn’t take long until free scoring Salzburg found themselves 4-2 up. Alan scored three of the four and I would expect this not to be his last IF this year.

So you can play a role in anyone in FIFA 15 with lot’s of FIFA 15 coins to play with your friends or your family.Seeing as this week I could have made two teams the following players could all realistically make the side:

Messi –> Hat trick

Moting –> Hat trick

Deeney –> Hat trick

Walters –> Goal and assist

Efoulou –> Hat trick

Keane –> Winning goal in final

DeLaGarza –> Great game

Ljajic –> Brace

EA release FIFA Ultimate Team aim to make players build team free

Every FIFA fans are enjoying play ultimate team, we all have many teams and experience different squad and style. Players can based on personal preference to make team in FUT, the most common squads are The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, German Bundesliga, Ligue 1. Because the chemistry among these players can stack, but, only to collect the top league players make a team can called as the Real Ultimate Team?I think it is not enough!

And the EA release FIFA Ultimate Team aim to make players build team free, also they want to make a real invincible king team. We need to take consider of formation, player’s chemistry, and the position’s advantage to play the advantages of each person.

Attackers:Ronaldo(93), Suárez(89)
Midfielders: Neymar(87), Pogba(84),Messi(95),Lahm(88),Robben(92)
How do you think of building such an amazing squad?
The forward has C.Ronaldo + Suárez, no doubt, their ability enough to break through the defense line, even though the Chelsea’s parking the bus can’t withstand their attack.
The midfielder Neymar, Pogba, Messi, Lahm, Robben, the five players have powerful energy in the football field. Maybe we can compared them to the Atomic Bomb. Once start, they absolutely are the king in the midfield. One of them has ability to cross over the defender.

The backs are Ramos, Chiellini, Boateng, even if you get distracted let opponent enter into the half-court. Take it easy, you still have the fierce rear defence. Of course, although they are fierce, the outstanding personal abilities can make him avoid illegality.

Even though the opponent has the chance to shoot, the top 1 goalkeeper Neuer here can do what you want!
